CLEANING
- Wash before using for the first time; dishwasher-safe when placed away from the heating element.
USE AND CARE
To Use:
- Place one piece of bread on a flat surface.
- Scoop approximately 2 tbsp (30 mL) of filling on the center of the bread.
- Place the second piece of bread on top of the first.
- Position the Cut-N-Seal® over the bread. Grasp the handle of the tool and gently rock back and forth until the bread is cut and sealed.
- Lift and remove the tool from the bread.
- Alternative uses include pizza dough, crescent roll dough, pie dough, and wonton wrappers.
TIPS
- Works best with soft, white bread.
- If the top of the bread splits open, reduce the filling.
- Keep the sealing edge of the tool away from the crust of the bread.
- When making tarts, be careful not to catch the filling in the seal. This may cause the tart to open during baking.
- When using pizza and pie dough, brush the edges with an egg wash before sealing.
- When using wonton wrappers, moisten the edges with an egg wash. Press the edges of the wrappers together before sealing.
