2-Minute Decadent Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (8 oz/250 g)   cream cheese (see Cook’s Tip)
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL)   powdered sugar
  •  Assorted dippers of your choice

 

Chocolate-Peanut Butter Dream1 cup (250 mL) peanut butter & milk chocolate morsels
Add-ins: 5 classic peanut butter cups or 7 miniature peanut butter cups, chopped
S‘more Please 1 cup (250 mL) milk chocolate morsels
Add-ins: 32 mini marshmallows
2 graham cracker rectangles, chopped 
Chocolate-Coconut Joy 1 cup (250 mL) dark or semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Add-ins: ¼ cup (50 mL) sweetened flaked coconut, toasted
¼ cup (50 mL) almonds, toasted and chopped
Chocolate Kissed1 cup (250) mL semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Add-Ins: 15 chocolate candy kisses (any flavor), chopped
Caramel-Nut 1 cup (250 mL) milk chocolate morsels
Add-ins: 1 roll (1.7 oz/48 g) milk chocolate-covered chewy caramels, cut into small pieces
¼ cup (50 mL) pecans, toasted and chopped

 

Directions

  1. Choose a flavor. Combine cream cheese and powdered sugar in Garlic & Brie Baker. Add morsels. Microwave, covered, on HIGH 1½-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds with Mini Mix ’N Scraper® until smooth. Do not overheat.  

  2. Meanwhile, prepare Add-ins.  

  3. Remove baker from microwave; stir half of the Add-ins into warm dip. Sprinkle remaining Add-ins over dip. Serve with your favorite dipper. 

Yield:

  • 12  servings of 2 tbsp/30 mL dip only

Cook's Tips:

For best results, do not use reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchâtel). The additional moisture in the cream cheese will cause the mixture to separate. 

The dip will thicken as it stands.  If it becomes too thick for dipping, rewarm in the microwave, covered, on HIGH 15-30 seconds. Stir.
