Use & Care
CLEANING
- Wash before using for the first time; dishwasher-safe.
- Don’t soak the sheet. Make sure to dry the sheet completely after washing to prevent rust.
- If rusting occurs, use an aluminum polisher and cleanser, then rinse and dry completely. Don’t use aluminum polisher and cleanser on the cooking surface.
- Sheets will naturally darken with use and dishwashing. This won’t affect the performance of the sheet. To maintain the luster of the sheet, hand wash.
- Only use a soft sponge, cloth, or kitchen brush for cleaning the sheet. Don’t use abrasive cleansers such as steel wool, cleansers with bleach, or oven-cleaning solutions; they can damage the sheet and void the guarantee.
- Let the sheet cool to room temperature before cleaning.
USE AND CARE
- The sheet is safe in conventional ovens, convection ovens, and broilers. Higher temperatures may cause flexing. Once the sheet cools, it will return to its normal shape. Don’t use this sheet with extreme temperatures; it will cause warping.
- Don’t use this sheet on glass or ceramic cooktops, electric coil, gas burner range, induction (magnetic) range, or an outdoor grill. Not microwave-safe.
- Don’t use aerosol nonstick sprays. They may create a sticky, difficult-to-clean residue if the sheet isn’t washed immediately or if it gets overheated.
- Salty or acidic food may create small pits on the surface. Line the sheet with parchment paper to help prevent this from occurring.
- You can use metal utensils with this sheet, but scratching will occur.
- Always follow recipe temperature and baking times.
SAFEGUARDS
- Always use caution when handling the hot pans. Use a heat-resistant oven mitt or pad when handling the hot sheet or placing it on surfaces.
- Don’t use the sheet for broiling high-fat foods. A broiler pan with a rack (usually provided with the oven) is designed to drain juices and avoid spatter and smoke.
GUARANTEE
- Three-year guarantee for noncommercial use. Refer to sales receipt for details.
