Hidden Veggie Beef Burgers

Each of these juicy, flavorful burgers contains some hidden vegetables. They'll be your new go-to family meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) oil
  • 1 lb. (450 g) 90% lean ground beef
  • 4 scoops Enrichables™ Super Veggie
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) cold water
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) garlic powder
  • ½ tsp (2 mL) onion powder
  • ½ tsp (2 mL) salt
  • ½ tsp (2 mL) pepper
  • 4   burger buns
  •  Optional: Tomato, lettuce, or ketchup

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a skillet or a grill pan over medium heat for 3–5 minutes.

  2. Add all the ingredients to a large bowl and mix until well combined.

  3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.

  4. Grill the patties for 4–6 minutes per side, or until cooked to the temperature you like.

  5. Serve the patties in the buns. If you’d like, top the patties with the tomato, lettuce, or ketchup.

Cook's Tips:

Adding cold water to the patties helps the seasonings bloom and keeps the patties juicy.

You can substitute the salt and the pepper with ½ tsp (2 mL) of Seasoning Salt.
