Use fresh, natural ingredients to mix up smooth, custom-flavored ice cream, custard, frozen yogurt, sorbet, sherbet, and even frozen drinks. When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Never leave the Ice Cream Maker unattended while in use.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This product is not intended for use by children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- To protect against electrical hazards or injury, do not immerse the cord, plug, or Ice Cream Maker in water or other liquid.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use, before cleaning, and when assembling.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch heated surfaces.
- Do not place on or near hot surfaces, such as stoves, ovens, or near open flames.
- To disconnect, turn the power off, then remove the plug from the wall outlet. Always pull the plug out from the wall; never pull the cord.
- Do not use unapproved accessory attachments because they may cause injuries or damage.
- Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, and utensils away from moving parts to reduce the risk of injury and/or damage to the appliance.
- Always clean the Ice Cream Maker thoroughly before using it.

- This appliance is only intended for the preparation, cooking, and serving of food. It is not intended for use with any nonfood materials or products.
- To prevent freezer burn, always protect your hands when you touch the inner bowl, especially when you remove it from the freezer.
- If freezing solution appears to be leaking from the inner bowl, stop using the Ice Cream Maker immediately. The solution is nontoxic, but should not be ingested.
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
- Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
- If the plug fits loosely into the outlet, or if the outlet feels warm, do not use that outlet.
- Never freeze ice cream that has been fully or partially defrosted.
- Ice cream or sorbet that contains raw ingredients should be consumed within one week of making it.
- Ice cream or sorbet that contains raw or partially cooked eggs shouldn’t be given to young, elderly, pregnant, or sick people.

CLEANING
- Wash before using for the first time.
- Hand wash the bowl, paddle, and lid. Dry thoroughly before using or storing.
- To wash the power unit, wipe it with a damp cloth then dry it thoroughly before using or storing.
- Always turn the Ice Cream Maker off, unplug, and disassemble it before cleaning.
- Never put the power cord in water or let the cord or plug get wet.
- Do not wash the Ice Cream Maker or its parts in the dishwasher.
- Do not use abrasive cleansers like steel wool, scouring powders, or other abrasive materials.
- Let the bowl come to room temperature before cleaning.
USE AND CARE
- The machine must be switched on before adding ice cream or sorbet mixture to keep it from immediately freezing on the bowl.
- For best results, always refrigerate ice cream or sorbet mixture before adding them to the Ice Cream Maker.
- Adding alcohol to recipes will keep them from freezing properly.
To Use:
- Before you use your Ice Cream Maker, remove all the packaging, hand wash and make sure all the pieces are thoroughly dried.
- Place the lid on the bowl and store it in the freezer (0°F/-18°C) for at least 24 hours before using.
- Prepare your ice cream or sorbet mix and let it cool in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the mixture reaches 45°F (7°C).
- Fit the Power Unit into the Clear Lid. It will click into place.
- Fit the Paddle into the Power Unit.
- Lower the assembled Clear Lid onto the Bowl and turn it clockwise to lock it.
- Insert the plug into the outlet. Screen will light up and then go dark.
- Press the Power button once. You’ll see 00:00 appear on the screen automatically.
- Set the timer for 5–40 minutes. To change the running time, press the Timer button. Each time you press the Timer button you’ll add 5 minutes, until you get to the maximum time. Once the desired time is reached, the Ice Cream Maker will start automatically after 2 seconds.
- Once the Power button has been pressed, pressing it again will turn off the Ice Cream Maker.
- The remaining time will count down on the LCD display.
- Use the chute to pour the ice cream or sorbet mixture into the bowl.
- Always stop at least 1½" (4 cm) from the top of the bowl, since the mixture will increase in volume as it freezes.
- Let the mixture churn until it’s frozen or it reaches the desired consistency. It can take up to 40 minutes, but most recipes will be ready in less time.
- When there are 30 seconds remaining on the timer, the numbers will flash until the timer runs out. The Ice Cream Maker will automatically stop turning. Press Power to turn it off.
- Ice cream will be a soft-serve consistency. For a hardened ice cream, remove the Clear Lid, cover the Bowl with the Stretch-Fit Lid, and place in the freezer to harden.
SAFEGUARDS
- Do not stop and start the machine after you add ice cream or sorbet mixture. The mixture may freeze to the bowl and stop the paddle from moving.
- To avoid overheating the motor, the direction of the paddle may change.
- If the motor overheats, the motor will stop running. Switch off the power, unplug the Ice Cream Maker, and let the Power Unit cool.
- Do not use with metal utensils.
- Do not puncture or heat the Bowl.
