Use & Care
- Wash prior to first use; hand wash only. Do not dishwash. Do not clean with an abrasive cleaner or scouring pad, as this will damage the surface.
To use with fudge or cake-like brownie mixes:
- 1. Preheat oven, reducing suggested recipe temperature by 25°F (4°C). Darker pans require slightly lower temperature. Note: All Pampered Chef® recipes using this pan reflect the temperature reduction.
2. Grease per package directions; if using nonstick spray, wipe away excess spray with paper towel to prevent oil build-up on pan.
3. Fill each well two-thirds full. If every well in pan is not filled, wipe away any spray within the empty well(s) to prevent build-up.
4. Bake time will vary based on type of brownie package. To avoid over baking, check doneness at 20 minutes. If not done, continue to bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
5. Remove from oven and release brownies immediately to prevent over baking. Always use a heat-resistant oven mitt or pad when handling hot pan.
6. To release, cover cooling rack with parchment paper; place covered rack on top of pan and invert.
7. Cool completely on cooling rack. Store tightly covered.

Usage Tips
- For optimal 12 brownie yield, use 18.3 oz. (519 g) package size. Smaller or larger mixes can be used and may yield slightly less or more than 12 brownies.
- Brownie Pan is not just for brownies! Works well with muffins, corn bread and pound cake too.
- For a fun appetizer, make mini “deep dish” pizzas. Cut refrigerated pizza dough into 12 squares. Press into bottom and sides of wells and fill with favorite toppings, sauce and cheese. Follow package directions for oven temperature and time.
- Paper baking cups (sized 2½"/63 mm) will conform in square wells during baking and may be substituted for nonstick cooking spray. End result will be more of a square shape.
Safeguards
- Hot pan can cause burns if handled improperly. Always use a heat-resistant oven mitt or pad when handling hot pan or placing on surfaces.
- Pan is safe in conventional and convection ovens up to 450°F (230°C). Pan is not broiler-, freezer- or microwave-safe.
- Extreme temperature change will cause warping. Always allow pan to cool to room temperature prior to adding liquid or cleaning.
- Do not use pan on a glass or ceramic cooktop, electric coil, gas burner range, induction (magnetic) range or an outdoor grill.
- Use of metal utensils on surface will cause scratching.
